Every Fall Arlington County’s DES sends out randomly generated notices that require homeowners to inspect facilities on their property.
It is required for everyone that receives this notice to respond and show that their facilities are still operating as designed. If during the reporting process it shows that the systems are not working as installed it is the homeowner’s responsibility to repair or replace the system. If they do not the County can come in and do it at your expense.
